Only tax deeds are sold in Texas. There is a 6 months redemption period after the property is sold.

Texas has redeemable deed sales – even after the sale the previous owner can redeem the house/property.

In Texas, if it a residential homestead, there is a 24 month redemption period. The homestead laws are liberally applied so you have to be very careful about the redemption period.
