I saw an ad about an upcoming tax deed sale. What is the procedure if I want to buy that property?

You should contact your Register of Deeds office and ask them since the procedure varies from state to state.

Tax deeds are usually sold at an auction – you have to go the county office and register for the auction, and once you do that ask them what else they need from you. Make sure that you have the cash ready too.
