Well, it isn't that easy, as for the amount of work involved – most counties hold tax lien sales either every six or twelve months – if you buy in several counties, you could be going to tax lien sales up to 12 times per year.

Also it all depends on the State you are in, in some states the interest you get isn't that high, in other places (like California and Florida for example) selling tax liens works really well, but there are many investors who flock there.
